A Ginger
B Zamikand
C Turmeric
D Carrot

Detailed Solution

Vernalisation is the promotion of flowering by a period of low temperature.
It is seen in the winter varieties of wheat, barley and rye and in biennial plants.
Biennials such as sugar beet, cabbage and carrot grow vegetatively in the first season and flower in the second season only after exposure to cold; subjecting them to a cold treatment stimulates their flowering.
Ginger, zamikand and turmeric are propagated vegetatively by underground stems and do not need cold treatment to flower.
Hence vernalisation stimulates flowering in carrot.
