Position of non polar and polar part in micelle
A
Polar at outer surface but non polar at inner surface
B
Polar at inner surface non polar at outer surface
C
Distributed over all the surface
D
Are present in the surface only
Detailed Solution
Soap and detergent molecules have a long non-polar (hydrophobic) hydrocarbon tail and a polar (hydrophilic) ionic head.
In water, above the critical micelle concentration, they cluster into spherical micelles. The hydrophobic tails point inward, away from water, forming the core, and the polar heads point outward into the water.

Grease and oil dissolve in the non-polar core, which is how soap cleans.
So the polar part is at the outer surface and the non-polar part at the inner surface.
