The adrenal cortex secretes mineralocorticoids like aldosterone, which increase the reabsorption of $Na^+$ and water from the renal tubules. This prevents diuresis. (ANF causes vasodilation, decreased renin reduces reabsorption, and undersecretion of ADH causes more water loss.)
