What is true about Nereis, scorpion, cockroach and silver fish?Nereis belongs to class Polychaeta of phylum Annelida, while scorpion, cockroach and silver fish belong to phylum Arthropoda.
So they do not all belong to the same phylum.
Nereis is a marine annelid, so it is not true that none of them is aquatic.
Jointed paired appendages are found only in arthropods; Nereis has unjointed lateral appendages called parapodia.
All non-chordates that have a heart have it on the dorsal side. In Nereis the main pumping vessel is dorsal, and in the scorpion, cockroach and silver fish the heart is dorsal and tubular.
So the feature common to all four is that they all possess a dorsal heart.
